Encouraging Verses from a friend

I got these encouraging verses from a friend today and I thought they were so great I immediately needed to post them to share. I am definitely going to be pondering these for the next few days.

Psalm 112:7
"They do not fear bad news; they confidently trust the Lord to care for them"

2 Timothy 1:7
"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."
